4-Weeks I 12 Classes I $108

1). One Intro to Mysore Style class per week.

Sundays - 1/14, 1/21, 1/28 & 2/4 from 4:00 - 5:00pm.

Sunday sessions are for series participants only and will include a discussion of foundational technique and philosophy. These classes will be a combination of "led" and "Mysore Style." 

2). Two Weekly Mysore Style classes of your choice.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday between 7 - 9am; Tuesday and Thursday between 9:30 - 11:30am.

Do your practice with the support of the Shala's existing Mysore Style community and, of course, Laura will be there to guide you!  Arrive anytime during the two hour class time window and, if possible, plan to practice for about an hour.


Ashtanga Yoga offers a challenging sequence of postures linked with breath to create a moving meditation. Mysore Style is the traditional format of Ashtanga Yoga. In the Mysore Style students are given individual instruction within the group setting whereas in a led Ashtanga Yoga class the teacher guides all students through the same choreography simultaneously. This 4-Week Series will introduce students to the Primary Series, a sequence designed to align and detoxify the body, beginning with the Sun Salutation and Standing Poses. Through repetition students gradually commit small sections of the sequence to memory and take the first steps toward establishing a personal practice. Each student will receive individual instruction and hands on assists as they practice and slowly advance through the series at their own pace.

After the Intro to Mysore Series students will be prepared to move seamlessly into regular Mysore Style practice.

Pre-registration in person or online is recommended. Registration is limited to 10 students.
