Intro to Mysore Classes: Sundays | 4:00 - 5:15 p.m.

Plus 2 Weekly Mysore Classes of Choice:  

Monday, Friday or Sunday between 7-9 a.m.

Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Ashtanga Yoga offers a challenging sequence of postures linked with breath to create a moving meditation. In the Mysore Style tradition students are given individual instruction within the group setting. This 4-Week Series will introduce students to the Primary Series, a sequence designed to align and detoxify the body, beginning with the Sun Salutation and Standing Poses. Through repetition students gradually commit the sequence to memory and take the first steps toward establishing a personal practice. Each student will receive individual instruction and hands on assists as they practice and advance through the series at their own pace. Sunday sessions are for Series participants only and will include a discussion of foundational technique and philosophy.

After the Intro to Mysore Series students will be prepared to move seamlessly into regular Mysore Style practice.

Pre-registration in person or online is recommended. Registration is limited to 10 students.

No previous experience is necessary – come as you are!
